First day of school

Alex's first day of school was August 31st. She attends Brookview School, and is in the Toddler Community. She loves it and is quickly catching on to what it means to be part of a classroom, learning to play with others, walk in class, use "inside voice" when inside and the many other lessons of early childhood. She especially likes stringing beads (she often starts her day with that), and if she were allowed to, would wash her hands continuously -- she loves water! She has made friends with some of her classmates, such as Larson. The rhythm of school has gotten into her (including naps, yea!), and truth be told, it has gotten into Kristen and me, too, as our schedules have shifted to dropping her off and picking her up. I'm glad that school agrees with her and hope that this is a good sign of things to come.
